To date TEMBEKA has approved 21 loans with a total value of R12.8 million to nine clients. Through our support our clients were able to provide smaller loans to more than 1000 persons.

Partnerships and AffiliationsSIDI - www.sidi.fr (Tembeka Institutional Partner) The Investment Company for International Development, SIDI a French company, was created in 1983 and has developed partnerships with microfinance institutions and financial apex institutions similar to Tembeka in 25 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. SIDI is involved in the following fields of intervention:

  • Financial support (equity investment, loans and Guarantees and grants negotiated with other international Institutions)
  • Accompaniment (reinforcement of operational capacities of partner Organisations)
  • Research and Development (in fields of methodological tools, capitalization and networking)

SIDI one of the founders of Tembeka continues to be an important partner in Tembeka’s new mandate.

The FDA enhances the economic and social development of the African continent, which will ultimately shape and lead to the establishment of AFRICAN UNITY - Therefore paving the way for peace, harmony and the well being of all her people! Tembeka is listed as a special project of Africa on the ‘I support Africa’ website.
